In these uncertain times, it may not be wise to buy a copier, printer and fax. Sure, you can go to one of the office supply centers and pick up a cheap, all in one home office machine. The cost is low for the equipment, but look out when it runs out of toner or ink. The replacement cartridges are so expensive and they don't last very long. When the equipment starts to have problems (right after the warranty runs out) the manufacturer says, "throw it away and buy another one". This happens just after you have purchased those extra toner or ink cartridges and maybe a drum cartridge, so you won't get caught in the middle of a job and run out.
